Greetings from our home where we continue to enjoy beautiful fall days. We hope the same for you wherever you may be.
Firstly, our Field has enjoyed some remarkable days these last few months. Summer was full of kid's events, W&Ws, VBSs, camps, retreats, education courses, outreach events, compassionate ministry initiatives, and baptisms. That adds up to several miracles and new testimonies by individuals who's lives have been changed by Jesus. Exciting!
Also General Assembly was tucked in the center of this busy summer which allowed us to find time to visit. Thanks for supporting our CIS luncheon and stopping by the booth. Thank you for continuing to carry a passion for missions.
Secondly, I need to inform you that Connie and I recently resigned our positions as FSC coordinators of the CIS. Aging parents in major transition and overwhelming business responsibilities have made it impossible for me to do the job. We will continue to support the field which we love. We will continue to look forward to seeing you at the partnership meetings and working with you to support missionaries and the mission to make disciples.
Lastly, Connie and I have appreciated your support over the last two decades. It is hard to believe 20 years ago we set out on an incredible life changing journey that has resulted in new friendships and a multitude of blessings. Our mission partners, YOU, have had a lot to do with that. We are grateful.
Please pray for the Field and our Region in these days of transition. Please remember us as we remember you.
Lonnie and Connie
