This week I am full of nostalgia. I am thinking back to 1997 when we were celebrating a new Ministry Center in downtown Kyiv. We were so excited and over the years dozens of people (including our young children) pitched in to remodel and create a home for Kyiv First Church of the Nazarene and Compassionate Ministries Center. Those were exciting days and we are so grateful for the abundant memories we will always hold in our hearts, and the testimony of God's faithfulness in this place.
This Sunday, June 2nd, will be our last official worship service at that location. The following Sunday we will celebrate together at a location 6 miles away. We are unsure about what this move will mean for many of our current members, but are also excited and hopeful that God will breathe new life into this new church building and into our hearts as well.

Please keep us in your prayers. Our service will contain a bit of grief as we naturally mourn the loss of a special place. But we hope it will also be a special time to remember God's faithfulness over the years. Like Samuel we will do our best to raise our Ebenezer's of testimony for all that God has done in and through us at our current location.
"Then Samuel took a stone and set it up between Mizpah and Shen.
He named it Ebenezer, saying, "Thus far the LORD has helped us."

What an adventure it is to serve the Lord. But we move forward trusting that he goes before us, behind us, beside us. He is our home and we will follow Him wherever he will lead us.
Thank you for your support and faithfulness over the years. We love you and are so very grateful for your friendship.
